  5. Cigarette smoking is not allowed anywhere on the course due to high fire danger.
  6. The Snowbird Resort is located within the Salt Lake City watershed.  Therefore, runners MUST use the portable toilets provided (no relieving oneself on the trail!)
  7. All runners MUST carry at least 1 water bottle during the race.  The race director recommends each runner carry 2 water bottles.
  8. Runners having physical difficulties during the race should identify themselves at the nearest aid station.  Aid station volunteers will evaluate runners’ condition and have the authority to pull runners from the course.  Runner safety is a primary concern!
  9. The race is marked with pink ribbons, chalk lines and paper plates.  Course marshals are stationed at critical areas on the trail.  Pay attention!
  10. It is the runner’s responsibility to study the course map prior to the race and to look for course markings during the race.  If you do not see a ribbon within 30’ after a junction, you have gone the wrong way.  Every effort will be made to place ribbons and chalk markings just after junctions to ensure you are on the right trail.
